Journey to Zermatt

Zermatt is a car-free village. Access for private traffic is allowed up to the village of Täsch, which is about 5 km away. The road Täsch-Zermatt is closed for public traffic. If you have any questions about your arrival, we will be happy to help you.

Arrival by car

You can drive your car to the village of Täsch, which is located about five kilometers before Zermatt. Once you reach Täsch, stay on the main road until you see the golden locomotive on your left. That’s where you’ll find the “Parking Schaller” parking garage, which has over 160 spaces. As our guest, you’ll receive a discount of at least 15%. Advance reservations are recommended. The parking garage offers a taxi shuttle service that will take you to Zermatt. Click here to visit the website.

Arrival by train

If you are traveling by train, you have daily train connections from all surrounding airports from 6 a.m. to around midnight, which will take you to the Zermatt terminus. Once you arrive at Zermatt station, you can use the hotel's own shuttle between 7 am and 9 pm. Just give us a call and we will be happy to pick you up. Shuttle service for arrival & departure

As soon as you have reached Zermatt, simply call us and we will pick you up at Zermatt train station with our shuttle cab. You can also make use of our electric cab on departure and be taken back to the station after check-out. The shuttle service is free of charge for our guests and available for you from 07-21:00.
